This year's Indie Arena Booth at the gamescom fair in Cologne will host more than 200 indie games from 39 countries around the world, the organizers announced. Among the exhibitors are well-known publishers such as Neowiz, Raw Fury, PM Studios and ESDigital, who will present their latest line-up. A special emphasis this year will again be on the Nintendo Switch console, which will present eight carefully selected indie titles at the booth.
In addition to a large number of independent studios, numerous institutions and partners participate in the project, such as Pro Helvetije, the Film and Media Foundation NRW, Games Bavaria, Gamecity Hamburg, MFG Baden-Württemberg, the Ministry of Economy of the State of Hessen, the Steam platform, the publishing house Black Screen Records, the Wings initiative, the IGDA association, and the German Federal Agency for Political Education.
Numerous domestic studios from Germany will be present at the Indie Arena Booth, including Paintbucket Games, tobspr Games, Envision Entertainment, Bippinbits, Spaceflower, Mooneye Studios, btf games, Maschinen-Mensch, Tiny Roar, Boxelware, Pixel Maniacs, Gentle Troll Entertainment, Studio Seufz and kaleidoscube.
