ArenaNet and 2weeks have announced that they are working on Guild Wars Reforged, which aims to bring the experience of the original Guild Wars to a new generation of players.
"Even after two decades, we are still passionate about improving the original Guild Wars experience for players. The game has a dedicated community of fans and with this update we will modernize the experience and hope new and old players alike will find a reason to journey through Tyria together." Said the game's director Stephen Clarke-Willson.
2weeks co-founder Bandon Dillon added: "it's a treat to return to the original Guild Wars, I got involved in this franchise as a teenager and worked with the original team to create the world of Tyria. Partnering with ArenaNet to update and improve the player experience means we can continue to develop the game."
Guild Wars Reforged is out exclusively on Steam for PC and via the official website for $20.
