After years of unsuccessful farming games, it seems that the time has finally come to try to dethrone Farming Simulator. Company Aerosoft known for its serious simulations, on October 7, 2024, it releases a game called Global Farmer.
Thanks OpenStreetMap players will be able to farm around the world, in all regions and climates, including the areas where they live. The game will be available in Early Access via Steam. Along with the realistic aspects of farming life, it will feature numerous farm machinery and equipment.
Players will be able to grow and sell numerous agricultural crops, care for farm animals, manage machinery, hire workers, and make decisions based on real-world data such as soil quality, seasonal changes, and crop viability.
The farm will be able to be built anywhere in the world, and it will also be expandable. Weather conditions and changing seasons will affect crop growth. If the existing data is not precise enough or missing, players will be able to modify it using the Map Editor. It remains to be seen how many bugs there will be, and whether players will accept this new farming simulator.
