Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is the latest remake of the popular 2010 action-adventure platformer game, Epic Mickey. The game was officially announced during the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase event on February 21, 2024, and is available from September 24, 2024 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
In this game, players take on the role of Mickey Mouse, armed with a magic brush, who embarks on an epic journey through the Wasteland, a world inspired by classic Disney stories. The game offers improved graphics, new skills for Mickey, such as sprinting, ground slam and quick movement, and improved controls.
Epic Mickey: Rebrushed brings a nostalgic throwback to old fans and an introduction to the series for new players, with modernized visuals and additional content. Players will be able to explore different levels inspired by animated films and shorts, meet iconic characters like Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, and collect virtual Disney pins.
