Veterans Guitar Hero and DJ Hero they opened a new studio RedOctane Games. As they said, it is home to the creators and developers who helped create these titles almost two decades ago, but also to some members who still contribute to the genre of rhythm games today.
They are currently working on multiple titles, one of which is due out later this year. They are also described as part Embracer groupand more precisely his a branch of Freemode which helps indie studios.
At the head RedOctane Games je Simon Ebejer which was responsible for the pair Guitar Hero title while working for Neversoft, and later he also worked in Blizzard and he was host of Vicarious Visions.
RedOctane was a publisher Guitar Hero 1 and 2 before it became a subsidiary Activision who bought it for 100 million dollars. They founded the studio Kai Huang and Charles Huang, and the aforementioned company closed them down 2010. The Huang brothers there will be advisors in the RedOctane Games.
