Revolution Software today officially announced the arrival of the remake of Broken Sword: The Smoking Mirror – Reforged, which will be available in early 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
The new version brings 4K graphics, updated audio, additional dialogues and the option to switch between the original and modern look. It will also feature hint systems and enhancements that make gameplay easier while preserving the spirit of the classic point-and-click style.
The game follows Nicole Collard and George Stobbart in uncovering a dark Mayan conspiracy through rituals and secret powers. The announcement also includes plans for Kickstarter campaign!
