Today, September 16, 2025, Ubisoft released the new Claws of Awaji expansion for Assassin's Creed Shadows. The expansion brings more than ten hours of new content and continues the story of Naoa and Yasuke, from where the main part of the game ends.
The action moves to the mysterious island of Awaji, which is not connected to the main game map. Different biomes await you on the island - beaches, swamps and jungles - and many dangers await you: deadly traps, ambushes and enemies who can even disguise themselves as ordinary citizens, so you must always be on your guard. Also, unique bosses appear in the expansion.
For Naoe comes a new combat option - Bo staff, a stick that allows for quick and truly spectacular combinations of blows, and even throwing enemies into each other. You will be able to find the legendary version of the Bo staff in various parts of the island. Along with that comes new gear and armor with unique modes and styles.
Important: to be able to play Claws of Awaji, you must complete the main story Shadows. The expansion continues right after completing the personal quests for Naoe and Yasuke. Also, it is recommended that the character be at least level 60 to be ready for new challenges.
