Agefield High: Rock the School developed by Refugium Games has received a brand new story trailer that offers a deeper insight into the game's coming of age and rebellious teenage spirit, inspired by the provocative teen comedies of the era. The trailer features improved character models and improved facial animations, and the main trio — Sam, Kale and Axel — comes to the fore.

Set in the year 2002, the game follows Sam Tatum, a new student in town, and his two friends who refuse to graduate as "nobodies". As graduation day approaches and the pressure of expectations mounts, they decide to turn the tables — to throw caution to the wind (and every school rule) for one last chance to make their mark. Between over-demanding parents, greedy teachers and a vain school rival who wants to ruin their plans, these teenagers are ready to defy, break the rules and live out the last months of school on their own terms.

The versatile humor, saturated colors and pop-punk energy of the early 2000s in the trailer are captured in the tone of the game — a nostalgic, heartfelt ode to teenage mischief, rebellion and friendship.

Key Features:

  • Movie Gameplay: Follow a branching narrative through a series of missions with different endings.
  • Fully simulated school system: attend (or miss) five different types of classes, including English, math, geography, music and German.
  • Explore the sandbox of small environments: from bike shops to tattoo parlors, the world of Agefield is full of places to discover and decisions to make.
  • Side jobs and mini-games: Complete various side missions and activities like prank calls and lawn mowing to earn money and unlock items.
  • Customize your look: shop for clothes, accessories, bikes, hairstyles and more to express your style and stand out in the halls.
  • Authentic early 2000s: pop-punk soundtrack, springtime ambience and vibrant color palette create an atmosphere that is as loud and rebellious as your teenage years.

Currently in development, Agefield High: Rock the School is planned for release on PC via the Steam platform, with console versions planned for later. Players can wishlist the game on Steam right now to stay up to date with the latest news and updates.
