Refugium Games has announced Agefield High: Rock the School, a new single-player open-world game that evokes the spirit of teenage rebellion from the early 2000s. In the style of the cult Rockstar title Bully, the game tells the story of Sam Tatum - a high school senior who is trying to find his way in a new school and make a mark before the end of the school year.
Set in the fully simulated town of Agefield, the game allows players to explore the school and its surroundings, decide whether to attend classes, get into mischief, earn money by mowing the lawn, and participate in various mini-games. All this with a dose of humor, rebellion and pop-punk music that faithfully conveys the atmosphere of that period.
Agefield High offers a rich narrative adventure with branching missions and multiple endings, an authentic school routine with five different subjects, numerous locations such as tattoo parlors and arcades, and full customization of the main character's appearance.
The game is currently in development for PC (Steam), while console versions are planned. The release date has not yet been announced.
