The team behind the game Tales of Kenzera: ZAU has announced their new project. Dead Take is a horror title that will use live-action scenes alongside its gameplay.

"Dead Take is set in a prestigious yet secluded Hollywood villa, and players aim to find their missing friend after a party. As they navigate through escape room-style puzzles, they must piece together videos that will reveal what truly lies behind the facade of the glamorous world."

The main roles in the game will feature some of the more well-known actors in today's video game industry: Ben Starr (Clive in Final Fantasy XVI) and Neil Newbon (Astarion in Baldur's Gate 3 and Karl Heisenberg in Resident Evil 7).

"As actors in video games and beyond, Neil, Ben, and I have relied on each other through tough times," said the game's producer Abubakar Salim.

"In those moments, we exchanged horror stories that served as a foundation. They not only helped in gathering the best talent but also created a space where we can all be honest and candid. I can't wait for you to experience their performances in this project."

Dead Take currently has no release date.
