The turn-based tactical game Star Wars Zero Company has received its announcement trailer and a brief look at gameplay. The team developing the game participated in a special panel at Star Wars Celebration where they explained in more detail how the collaboration came about and what this title will exactly be.

The most important information about Star Wars Zero Company is:

  • Single player turn-based title
  • Set in the era of Clone Wars, Kevin Kiner will compose the music (he participated in creating the music for the Clone Wars series)
  • Players will play as former Republic officer Hawks (they will be able to customize him, and the decisions they make will affect the story)
  • His team will consist of mercenaries and exiles (the player can create them or choose from new characters)
  • Trick (a clone who fought with Hawks in the war, voiced by Dee Bradley Baker - Captain Rex and clones in the Clone Wars series), Luco Bronc (human), Cly Kullervo (Mandalorian), Tel (Jedi)
  • Astromech droids will also be customizable
  • On certain difficulty settings, there will be limited saves and permadeath
  • Missions will affect the relationships of team characters (better or worse)
  • The team has created an original spaceship (Caisson) that will be customizable, and the pilot will be a droid named M-3VO
  • Den (the team's base that will upgrade through gameplay, a place where the player can socialize with the team, will also contain a galaxy map where we will choose missions)

Star Wars Zero Company is set to release sometime in 2026 for PC (Steam, Epic Games), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game is being developed by Bit Reactor, Respawn Entertainment, and Lucasfilm Games, while Electronic Arts will take on the role of publisher.
