Beyond The Pixels, a London studio dedicated to the modern revival of retro games, has announced its first title – Astro Burn, a cat-like chaotic shooter set to release in early 2026 on PC and consoles.
The studio was founded by filmmaker, series director, and video game sequence creator HaZ Dulull, known for projects with Netflix, Disney+, Fortnite, Evil Genius 2, and Dune: Awakening.
Astro Burn is a retro-inspired shoot ’em up where players take on the role of cat pilot Astro and her robot AL, facing A.I. machines surrounding Earth.
