Paddle Paddle Paddle is yet another title in the "I hate you lives" genre, a niche that always has its place
within the market. Although the game is full of bugs and technical issues, we decided to look on the bright side and accept all of this as part of the experience.

The premise is simple:

You and a friend, with paddles in hand, embark on your voyage "sailing up the dumb dumb river,” navigating your own mental state as much as the controls and terrain. The game is extremely difficult, and that’s the whole point, even after the “update” that made it noticeably easier. And speaking of the “update,” it’s worth noting that the game was made by one person, which is impressive in itself and deserves all the praise.

What we appreciated the most was the ability to make the game as unforgiving or “friendly” as you want. Usually, such games don’t show much mercy, but for me personally, the charm of these games lies more in the silliness and “trolling” rather than in the difficulty. Especially if that difficulty is intentionally absurd, and the controls serve more to confuse your brain than to achieve what you envisioned. And that’s actually the goal, to reach the end of a huge biome that is surprisingly well made.

All in all, Paddle Paddle Paddle is a fun experience, and if I had one complaint, it wouldn’t be a
complaint, more of a suggestion: Add a 4-player version so I can really test the loyalty of my close circle of people!

Good luck with your next project, the future is bright!
