NetEase Games has announced a new free-to-play sci-fi RPG shooter Destiny: Rising for iOS and Android devices, set in the popular Bungie universe. The first closed alpha test will take place on November 1 in the USA and Canada, and anyone interested can register via the official website.
"Enter a new era of heroes and legends, where familiar faces from Destiny meet new characters, each with their own rich story, unique personality, and skills," states the official game description.
"Experience high-caliber sci-fi shooting action in first or third person as you embark on new adventures in an alternate Destiny timeline. Play as these unique characters to defend Earth and reclaim the future for humanity."
Ethan Wang from NetEase Games claims they will bring the Destiny experience to mobile devices. Terry Redfield from Bungie said: "For a decade, we have built this world to contain many unique and wonderful stories, and we are excited that mobile users will get to experience this new Destiny universe created by the creative team at NetEase."
