The independent studio Hed Media Games released its new game CyberTaxi: Lunatic Nights in Early Access on Steam on September 2, 2025. The game combines taxi driving, shooting, city exploration, and missions that are not just "take the passenger from A to B." Players take on the role of a taxi driver who must save his sister, who has been wrongfully accused, in the dystopian Prison City filled with crime, dangers, and various missions.

CyberTaxi: Lunatic Nights draws strong inspiration from the '90s vehicular/racing combat genre, with the emergence of titles like Quarantine, Twisted Metal, and Carmageddon.

The current version offers the first of four districts, around 30 missions, combat mechanics both in and out of vehicles, a taxi upgrade mode, fuel management, and interaction with the residents of Prison City. What are our first impressions? You'll find out soon...
