World of Tanks: HEAT is set in an alternate post-World War II timeline, where experimental technology and armored warfare keep global conflicts under control. War operations take place across diverse landscapes, and elite operators along with experimental armored vehicles represent the last line of defense for peace before global chaos fully escalates.
At the heart of the action are the High Efficiency Armored Teams (HEAT) — elite Agents whose mission is to prevent conflicts before they start. Each Agent operates up to two specialized tank platforms that are not just weapons, but an extension of the Agent itself. These vehicles are fully upgradeable and deeply customisable, allowing players to shape their equipment and playstyle exactly the way that suits them best.
