The trial version is available through Steam and can be played until January 19, and allows players to try out the content and improvements introduced in Season 5, including additional activities, gameplay and technical improvements. This opportunity is particularly interesting given that Solar Crown failed to live up to expectations upon release. The PC version of the game scored a modest 53 on Metacritic, while user reviews on Steam were mostly negative, mostly due to technical issues and lack of content. With a free trial, the game is currently available at a much cheaper price.
