Weekend Games has announced Remote Control, a psychological survival horror typing game for PC coming to Steam in 2026. Developed by Canteen Games, the game combines the tense atmosphere of Alien: Isolation with the dehumanizing corporate horror of the Severance series.
The plot follows the mysterious disappearance of the crew of a spaceship, and you discover the truth by controlling human "proxies" only by typing commands. You only have 12 people at your disposal, and every death is permanent. With a dark sci-fi atmosphere and moral dilemmas, Remote Control brings a fresh twist to the horror genre.
