Studio Ember Lab has officially announced the new game Kena: Scars of Kosmora, the sequel to Kena: Bridge of Spirits. The game will be released in 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC.
The new adventure follows the older and more experienced Kena, now a famous Spirit Guide, who travels to the mysterious island of Kosmora in search of answers to the affliction she has endured her entire life. The action brings new cultures, regions and hidden secrets of the past, but also a personal challenge. After a powerful spirit breaks her staff, Kena must learn a forgotten form of spirit guidance that uses alchemy and elemental powers. A big role will be played by elemental spirit companions who grow with the player and unlock new abilities. The combat system has been expanded with elemental skills, infusions and strategic use of companions, along with demanding battles and large boss fights. The development team points out that the partnership with PlayStation Studios has allowed them to create a bigger and more ambitious world, and more information is expected in the coming months.
