ILL Game
rumours

Will we finally get this long awaited horror game?

In the sea of upcoming games that should be released this year, one game has caught the attention of the gaming community. A game called ILL, a first-person survival horror game with an emphasis on limited resources and tactical survival. The game is being developed by Team Clout, a studio that is part of the Mundfish Powerhouse program, and should be released in the second half of this year on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. This game attracted attention back in 2021, when the founders of the Team Clout studio started publishing short, hyper-realistic clips on social networks. Extremely realistic body horror, creepy atmosphere and brutal animations caused great enthusiasm among fans of the horror genre. After the initial enthusiasm, the project entered a phase where many doubted its reality. Since the founders are primarily visual effects (VFX) experts, theories have surfaced that the game doesn't exist at all, but that the videos are just pre-rendered animations made to attract donations. Videos of the game itself were rare and consisted of technical demonstrations instead of actual gameplay. However, the game got its first big official trailer at the Summer Game Fest in June 2025.

It must be admitted that in the trailer the game really looks very impressive. ILL will rely on a constant feeling of discomfort and disgust. Combat feels difficult, ammunition will likely be limited, and every encounter with the enemy poses a major threat. Monsters are often deformed people with extra limbs, growths and gruesome transformations. One of the key assets is the extremely detailed damage system on enemies. The monster's bodies react to each bullet, tearing and changing shape in real time. The developers also demonstrated a high level of environmental destruction, where gunshots leave permanent marks on walls and buildings. We hope that the developers will manage the atmosphere from the trailer in the gameplay of the game itself and that this year we will get one of the most realistic horror games ever.
