Kakao Games and Ocean Drive Studio have released a new gameplay video for God Save Birmingham, an upcoming medieval zombie survival game full of physics-driven mechanics, to promote the Closed Alpha Test starting soon. The video shows a bloody and brutal fight against the undead using a variety of weapon options — from sickles that cut off limbs to hammers and even improvised pieces of meat that serve as weapons to beat zombies. Also featured are the systems for crafting items, destroying objects, and barricading doors to prevent hordes from breaking through. A new guide system has also been introduced to help players navigate the early stages of the game.
The closed alpha test is divided into two phases: Phase 1 (February 19-23, 2026) is reserved for existing pre-alpha testers, while Phase 2 (February 26 – March 2, 2026) includes both new and old testers, and registrations for it are open through Steam. The game is available to be added to the wishlist on the official Steam page where all the information about the testing is available.
God Save Birmingham places players in an infected medieval Birmingham full of danger, where they must manage resources, craft weapons and survive in a world full of undead.
