PvP raid shooter Highguard is shutting down

Wildlight Entertainment yesterday he announced that after 45 days from the exit they turn off theirs PvP raid shooter Highguard, the game will shut down its servers March 12.

Highguard came out January 26 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series and received negative reviews due to the system requirements, but also the gameplay itself. Also February 11 news emerged that most of the team was fired and a smaller number were left to continue supporting the game.

Wildlight Entertainment addressed a special message about the shutdown and said:

“Danas dijelimo tešku vijest. Donijeli smo odluku da trajno ugasimo Highguard March 12. Since its release, more than two million players have entered the world Highguard. You've given us feedback, content online and believed in what we're building, and we're grateful for that. Despite the dedication and passion of our team, we failed to build a community that would support the game in the long run. The servers will remain available until March 12. Nadamo se da ćete uskočiti s nama i još jednom uživati u mečevima i pružiti nam podršku.”

Izjavu su zaključili sa: “Tim je uzbuđen što će objaviti još jedno ažuriranje prije gašenja. Dodat ćemo new Warden, weapons, progress for your profiles and skill trees. The full list of updates is coming, and we're aiming to push the update out tonight or tomorrow morning. From all of us at Wildlight, thank you for playing, supporting and being part of the story Highguard.”
