The Disney Afternoon Collection is finally coming to Nintendo Switch i Nintendo Switch 2 — is scheduled for February 26, 2026!
This expanded edition of the retro collection features eight classics inspired by popular Disney cartoons from the late '80s and early '90s, including two new titles not previously part of the original pack: Goof Troop and Bonkers (both from the SNES era).
Along with them, there are well-known games: DuckTales, DuckTales 2, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers 2, TaleSpin and Darkwing Duck, all originally released for the NES.
The new Nintendo version of the collection also brings more modern features — players can use Rewind to fix mistakes, save progress anywhere, and the six NES games have Time Attack and Boss Rush modes with online leaderboards. There is also a Gallery with archival materials from the Disney archive and a Music Player for the original soundtracks of all titles.
The digital version will be available from February 26, while the physical edition will arrive in May, including a game card, stickers, postcards, milk caps and a reversible envelope — and pre-orders are open through Atari.com, Nintendo eShop and other stores.
The Disney Afternoon Collection is the perfect opportunity to get nostalgic and rediscover classic Disney adventures from the '90s on modern Nintendo consoles.
