A new action-adventure platformer game Darwin's Paradox coming to PlayStation 5 later this year, and is being developed by a French studio ZDT Studio. The game tells the story of the octopus Darwin, who is kidnapped from the ocean and ends up in a mysterious food factory, where he must find a way to escape.
The goal of the developers was to convey the feeling of movement and abilities of the octopus as faithfully as possible, which was made possible by the advanced functions of the DualSense controller. Players will be able to climb almost any surface, use camouflage, and shoot ink to solve puzzles and avoid enemies. Vibrations and speakers of the controller further enhance the game experience, while HDR, ray tracing and advanced lighting bring the underwater and industrial world of the game to life. Darwin will avoid dangerous machinery, security systems and packs of rats throughout the adventure, and a touchpad help system will offer advice when players get stuck.
