The video, posted on The White House's official social networks, has generated a lot of attention online after amassing more than 30 million views. The post used footage from the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, mixed with actual footage of military strikes related to the war in Iran.
The video begins with a scene from the game where the MGB (Mass Guided Bombs) killstreak is activated on the remastered Afghan map. This is followed by actual footage of the bombing, while editing adds in-game elements such as displaying experience points for hit targets. This is not the first time that the White House has tried to attract a younger audience through references to popular video games. In October 2025, the Donald Trump administration's social media team used artificial intelligence to portray the president as the character Master Chief from the Halo series.

However, the merging of scenes from the video game with real war footage caused numerous reactions on social networks, where many users expressed their discomfort with the mixing of entertainment content and real war events.
