CyberConnect2 announced a new game in the famous series .hack which will be action RPG. The team is in favor .hack//Z.E.R.O. said that they are developing it for consoles and that it is a project that has been going on for 10 years and that they designed it themselves, developed it and will release it with their blessing Bandai Namco who owns the series.

The first .hack the game is out in 2002 (.hack//Infection) and later expanded into the genre of anime, novels, manga and animated films.
