Since the release of the first title in 2015, Dying Light has conquered more than 50 million players worldwide thanks to its unique combination of open world, horror and parkour survival. Each new game in the series continued to expand and develop the basic idea - from the original, through the sequel Dying Light 2: Stay Human, and all the way to the latest chapter Dying Light: The Beast.

New content and events

The original Dying Light allows fans – both new and veteran – to relive two beloved events from the past.

In Dying Light 2: Stay Human comes a brand new three-part event called "Infected Outbreak", which lasts for three weeks. During the event, an increasing number of infected will appear in different parts of the city, creating additional challenges for players. Participating in the event unlocks rewards, including an exclusive Kyle Crane skin from Dying Light: The Beast.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is also getting new paid content called The Black Hand bundle, which further expands the narrative through new unlockable story elements.

Statistics and the future of the franchise

Techland also shared impressive statistics that confirm how strongly the series has been embraced by a global and engaged gamer community over the past 11 years. The announced content is just the beginning of the celebration — additional updates and new plans for key titles within the franchise are planned in the coming period.
