Following the recent Switch release date announcement at the Nintendo Japanese Direct, Blue Backpack are excited to announce the PlayStation and Xbox release date of their acclaimed 2D hand-drawn metroidvania, Constance. The game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/|S on May 1st, the same day as the Nintendo Switch release.
Constance was declared one of the best in the genre and was compared to titles like Hollow Knight and Celeste when it was released on PC in December 2025. Now, console fans can experience the metroidvanian exploration, fluid platforming and engaging combat experience for themselves on May 1st.
