Capcom has published a three-minute short film names Evil Has Always Had A Name. It serves as a preparation for the upcoming one Resident Evil Requiem, because his the story follows a mother (Maika Monroe) and daughter before, during, and after the fall of Raccoon City.
The film was shot in Mexico City, and the campaign was presented in Los Angeles and New York where they are placed static and moving posters with pictures of missing persons and the name of the film. Special QR code on them leads to the film itself. Monroe stated that the filming itself was interesting and that it managed to show the chaos of the situation and that she also felt the spirit of nostalgia, because she remembered the film series with Milo Jovovich.
