Forza Horizon 6 – the new open-world racing game from Playground Games – will be officially released on May 19, 2026 for Xbox Series X/S and PC (via the Microsoft Store and Steam), with the option to play on Xbox Game Pass from day one. Early access begins on May 15 for those who purchase the Premium Edition.
The game features the largest map in the history of the series, set in an inspired Japan with more than 550 real cars and various racing and exploration content. Although Forza Horizon has traditionally been exclusive to the Xbox platform, it has been confirmed that the PlayStation 5 version will arrive later in 2026, but without an exact date yet.
Forza Horizon 6 thus continues the popular series of racing games with an emphasis on affordable fun, a large selection of vehicles and spectacular open environments, this time with an emphasis on Japanese culture and landscapes
