EA najavio produženje Sezone 1 u Battlefieldu 6, kao i nove sadržaje za besplatni free-to-play mod REDSEC. Season 1 was supposed to end on January 20, but it will be extended. The new release date for Season 2 is February 17th. The development team will use the extended time to polish and enhance Season 2, while maintaining the promise of regular, content-rich monthly updates. Season 1 will officially extend beyond January 20th, and the update features new weekly challenges, a continuation of the Season 1 Battle Pass, an additional Bonus Path, free daily login rewards, more Double XP periods, and featured Portal Community Experiences. Of particular interest to players will be the Frostfire Bonus Path, which becomes available on January 27 and lets you unlock new cosmetic rewards, including weapon packs, soldier and vehicle skins, and XP boosts. The Bonus Path can progress in parallel with the Battle Pass, and all points are earned exclusively through weekly challenges. Some of the rewards are available for free to all players, while additional exclusive items can be unlocked by owners of the Season 1 Battle Pass. In addition, during the extended season, players can expect special events such as Valentine's Day celebrations, additional daily login rewards and several Double XP weekends.
