The Fallout x Call of Duty crossover started on January 8, and all content is already available as part of the Season 01 Reloaded update. The event brings limited modes, a new map and exclusive rewards in Black Ops 7, Zombies and Warzone. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 features the Deathclaw Hunt, a limited Endgame World Event that takes players into a Fallout-inspired wasteland with toxic air, Deathclaws, and Feral Ghouls. Multiplayer is enriched with the Vault Town map, a Fallout version of the legendary Nuketown. Two new Limited Time modes are also available, S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Mayhem, a 6v6 that combines Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint and Kill Confirmed with Fallout power-ups like Jet, RadAway and Pie, and Ghoul Infection, a 24-player Infected mode where eliminated players become ghouls, while the Glowing Ghoul is the biggest threat. Zombies mode brings Project RADS, a limited mode on the maps Ashes of the Damned and Astra Malorum, where the level of radiation increases with each round. Players must carefully manage radiation with RadX and RadAway, while Deathclaws and Feral Ghouls add to the challenge. High radiation exposure slows movement, weakens weapons, and removes perks. In Call of Duty: Warzone, Power Armor Royale, a new Trio Limited Time mod on radiation-stricken Verdansk, is available. Power Armor drops from the sky, radiation zones keep changing, and teams must scramble for Power Armor or use RadAway to survive.
The event also includes a rich system of prizes. The Fallout Event Pass lets you unlock Fallout-inspired weapons, Operator skins, and cosmetics through both the free and premium passes. Through the Fallout Quantum Exchange, players collect Bottle Caps that can be exchanged for additional rewards, while the Global Leaderboard event Baron of the Wasteland rewards top performers with exclusive camos, calling cards and other cosmetic items. A special bonus is for Fallout 76 players, from January 12th to February 4th, playing just one match in Black Ops 7 or Warzone unlocks a free Centurion Recruit Helmet in Fallout 76. Tracer Pack: Fallout has also arrived in the store, bringing the Lucy Operator skins from the Fallout TV series, Fallout-themed weapon blueprints with tracers and death FX effects, V.A.T.S. HUD theme, finishing move and additional cosmetics.
