Arcade sports game Speedball, a modern take on the iconic 1988 franchise, is leaving Early Access for a January 27, 2026 release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC (Steam), developer Rebellion Developments has confirmed.
The action is set in the dark future of 2138, where the brutal futuristic sport combines high speed, violent action and tactical gameplay, and two cybernetically enhanced teams fight for dominance on the field.
In version 1.0, improved mechanics, a new League Mode, additional arenas and improved visual effects are expected, bringing the title an intense arcade experience to fans of sports games.
Speedball combines sport and action, focusing on fast and explosive matches full of adrenaline.
